A vertical version of my signature shot, Patriarch is a favorite near and dear to my heart as an artist. I waited many days for the perfect sunset atop Arkansas' highest peak, Mount Magazine. The ancient tree seems planted triumphantly in the depths of the rock, still growing towards a setting sun in what I consider one of the most beautiful vistas in the Mid-west.
