Little Hawksbill Crag

White River, Arkansas

A few years ago I started a new project called Arkansas Icons which photographed iconic locations around the state. The first in the series was this one, known as Little Hawksbill Crag along the White River just south of Calico Rock. Due to the record rainfall that year, the White River was still at capacity that autumn. Most years it has a very small flow by this time.
